Assistance on works management of structures
Copenhagen – Danimarca
Description
The aim of the project is to design Ferring Pharmaceutical’s offices and laboratories head quarter. Designed by the London Architect Norman Foster.
The building includes six storeys and two basements with a triangular shape (each side 100meters long) in reinforced concrete.
Each point of the triangle is a cantilever (up to 30m long measured from the first column). These cantilever are hung to the roof steel structure by dywidag bars. The roof is 4m high trusses composed by beams with a 10cm thick wings.
As designer we have developed the detail design of the structure developing the BIM model with a LOD300 and issuing all the detail drawings to be distributed to the contractors.
The design was followed by a remote build site assistance phase.
