New industrial building Despe headquarters

The project involves the construction of a new building for productive use, located in the municipality of Torre De ‘Roveri (BG) in G. Galilei, 4.

The building consists of 3 adjoining structures:

• an office building of two floors above ground and one underground;
• a prefabricated one-storey shed;
• a building used as a caretaker house of two floors above ground and one underground.

The building is located in the municipality of Torre De’ Roveri classified in seismic zone 3. There is therefore an obligation to design and verify the effects of seismic action on the structures.

For the verification of horizontal actions (wind and seism) of the office building and the caretaker house it was considered that the horizontal decks are of the rigid type able to absorb the horizontal actions and bring them back on the vertical resistant elements consisting in the stairwells, the walls and the reinforced concrete pillars.
