Demolition of a helicopter platform

Structural checks and safety requirements for the demolition of the helipad placed on the roof of the office building, at the UTECO Converting s.p.A industrial complex, located in Colognola Ai Colli (VR).

Object of the work was the demolition of a helicopter platform on the top of an office building, since it was impossible to cut the platform in smaller pieces that could have been brought to the ground floor easily (the platform was simply supported by the pillar). We decided to design a support by which we were able to remove the entire platform of 400 tons of weight
