Description

The building used as hotel subjected to be redeveloped foresees the following characteristics:

  • Spaces dimensioned for 75 hotel rooms, 4-star business standard located on the mezzanine floor, noble, second and attic;
  • Organization of the spaces on the ground floor for a central hall on which sides is placed a restaurant and a conference area, including also the executive offices;
  • Distribution of the spaces in the basement for the location of the kitchen with an annexed warehouse, the laundry and a gym.

It was also modified the design of the external and underground garages with a bigger use of prefabricated elements, it was therefore necessary to design the garages with a computational model without tie-rods and with the ground pressures absorbed by slab portions to be realized in the first phase, leaving a large hole in the center. With this solution was optimized the excavation and the last underground floor was completed at first, as there is located all the equipment of the main machinery.
