Brembo’s aluminium Foundry and FOMM’s cast iron Foundry

FOMM Description: New foundry for aluminum products with processing departments, offices, warehouses, cafeteria, changing rooms, outdoor accommodations. Built with steel supporting structure with free lights of about 47 meters and prefabricated panels.

Implementation with recovery of the old buildings, construction of bases for new lines, cupola, tanks for the storage of material, concrete decks and metal structures for plant support, furnace bases, tunnels.

Foundry description: The roof of the main structure is made of spatial lattice beams in two-span metal carpentry, resting on two pillars with a square section in sheet steel filled with concrete. Secondary structure realized by means of flat trusses in metal carpentry in simple support between the main beams.

Structure of offices and technical rooms: transverse lame portals in metal carpentry, resting on the columns of the main roof; floors made of secondary beams and collaborating concrete casting.

Reinforced concrete foundations for steel structures of the main building and panel walls

Weighs: foundations and perimeter walls in reinforced concrete

Toilets shed: reinforced concrete slab and load-bearing walls in concrete prisms.

Local generator set: reinforced concrete slab and load-bearing walls in concrete prisms.

Water collection tank: reinforced concrete cover slab

Internal stairs: foundations with reinforced concrete plinth and elevated structure consisting of columns, support beams, landings and metal carpentry.
